An owner of Hand & Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates, Mark is a graduate of the University of Iowa Physical Therapy program, 1978. Mark received an advanced degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Temple University in 1983, his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hahnemann/Drexel University in 2005 and is licensed to practice physical therapy in |
Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mark is nationally recognized as an accomplished writer and lecturer on upper extremity topics including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Brachial Plexopathies, Neural Mobilization and rehabilitation of tendon repairs. He has held the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (now known as University of the Sciences Philadelphia) and currently lectures at Hahnemann/Drexel University.
Mark has been a Board Certified Hand Therapist since the specialty inception, is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, winner of the Society's prestigious Nathalie Barr Award and was designated an Honored Senior Visiting Professor at the internationally attended 2004 Rehabilitation of the Hand conference. Mark's contribution to his profession also includes service as a selected item writer for the initial Hand Therapy Certification examination. Additionally, Mark has been a Certified Athletic
Trainer (ATC) for the past 20 years.
